ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

COURSE AIMS:

           Diploma in Electronics and Communication aims to provide adequate knowledge and technical skills and to keep abreast of latest technologies in Electronics and Communication Engineering and to meet the industrial requirements and update the knowledge in emerging trends. To expose and train the students practically to acquire the requisite knowledge in the recent technological advancements in the industry. 
 

DURATION :

The Duration of the course is 3 years ( 6 Semesters ).
 

FACILITIES :        

         The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is equipped with modern equipments like Microprocessor, Microcontroller Systems, Optical and Microwave communication equipments and softwares like Xilinx, Electronics Work Bench, Circuit Maker for PCB Design and Lattice software for PLDs. 
 

CAREER PROSPECTS :    

             This Course provides students with the skills to work in a closely  supervised environment in position related to the Electrical, Electronics and Computer System Industries.

• Typical Job Functions include 

• routine assembly tasks 

• clearly defined assembly repair tasks 

• clearly defined assembly modifications 

• routine equipment or system tests using basic test equipment 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS :

• Students who have completed their SSLC exam successfully are eligible to join first Year of their diploma course. 

• Students who have completed their HSC exam successfully are eligible to join second Year of their diploma course direct.
